Welcome to the project Göteborg 2050! The Göteborg 2050 project was a project where long-term and sustainable images of the future are used in various arenas. The project adds backcasting methodology that supplies alternative long-term scenarios to planning processes in the city and the region. The project also supplied positive images of the future to the general public. The project was supported by the City of Göteborg, Göteborg Energi AB, Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg University, Renova and the Region Västra Götaland. Recent publication in English: Solar City Göteborg 2050, visions and scenarios for sustainable energy in the Göteborg Region.
